As they say in the field of computer science... HELLO WORLD! We in the Thermoelectric Material Applications for Microelectronics Group (or TMAM for short) are attempting to develop a novel thermoelectric prototype to be incorporated into computers and other handheld electronics which can harness the heat energy evolved in electrical processes and convert some of this heat back to electrical energy to increase the battery life and overall power capabilities of the devices. We are hoping that the materials developed will have applications in solar cells as well by allowing the cells to absorb infrared radiation, increasing the absorption spectrum.
On the right side of the webpage, you will find some pages that track the weekly progress of our group, our biographies, some helpful links, and our miscellaneous thoughts. Posts on this home page will hopefully summarize any major changes and developments in the progress of our team.
Thanks for visiting!
